Jardim do Vau

The location is ideal for kids, easy to walk a few steps to the beach, the playground, the indoor heated pool and the outdoor pool, free parking, restaurants and cafes nearby and a short car trip to the nearest supermarkets. I would highly recommend for families. The apartment was bright, really spacious and very very clean.

Clean, spacious rooms, with big balconies. Nice pool area with bathrooms- although people reserve their chairs early in the morning and don’t show up until hours later (signs that this is not allowed but it’s not enforced), shop has everything you need - food/snacks/toiletries. Later check out easily accommodated. 2 chairs and an umbrella available for rent at the beach for 20 euros but plenty of place if you want to stretch out on the beach a short few mins walk over.

The location was terrific! A 3 minute walk takes you to an outstanding path along beautiful cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea!

Excellent guy on reception, spoke all sorts of languages (well done sir). Clean, tidy, just the right stuff to cook simple no fuss meals. Toilet and shower clean, no mould or lingering smells. Beds were firm, clean and bedding changed every couple of days. Living area sparse but what are you doing in the room on an evening? There is a tv with all manner of channels incl Portugese obes which are mostly in English (explains why all the locals speak it so well - thank you). We will be back.

Good family rooms, beaches nearby, indoor pool, sufficient parking, playground. Very handy place for families. This was our second visit here. Staff is friendly and helpful.
